I will see to it that all necessary arrangements are made. [When someone of Javert's importance leaves, there's a lot of shuffling around of duties to be done. Fortunately, this one week won't be as long as when he broke his arm, and they know about it in advance. That makes things far easier.] Who did you have in mind for a replacement?

Nakago and Mademoiselle von Karma are competent in my absence, [he responds confidently. He may not like Franziska, but she has been nothing but competent thus far. Thankfully she has kept her whipping habit restrained in his presence.]

[Unless it's absolutely unavoidable that the messages be passed on to Javert, Edgeworth will see to it that the Inspector does not return to a pile of work that needs attending to.]

Very well. [Both Nakago and Franziska have been performing their duties admirably, as far as Edgeworth can see. He will take some time to decide which of the two will officially work as Javert's replacement for that week.] Will that be all?
